Actividad. El VegFest Manabí en conjunto con la Alianza Francesa desarrolló la primera Feria Vegetariana, Vegana y Orgánica de Manabí.

Diana Moreira, director of VegFest, said that around 30 stands throughout the province could show the different products made with organic raw material.
The event, which was held at the University Garden, also involved students from the Cristo Rey School and the Nutrition Career of the UTM.
In the place the citizens could taste typical food of Manabi based on different natural products, different from those normally used, said Moreira.
In the activity there were also lectures on vegetarian nutrition and yoga and acroyoga sessions.
Moreira said that they had the support of the Municipality of Portoviejo, so they hope to capture next year for these dates the second festival.
