PREGÓN CARNAVALERO INCLUSIVO
El pregón carnavalero inclusivo recorrió las calles principales de la ciudad en el inicio de las festividades de carnaval.
El pregón organizado por el Patronato Municipal de Manta, se inició a la altura del hotel Oro Verde y recorrió el malecón de la ciudad para culminar en la plaza cívica Eloy Alfaro, con presentaciones artísticas y entrega de certificados a las instituciones participantes.
En la jornada participaron asociaciones de personas con discapacidad visual, física y sensorial de Manta-Montecristi, Fundación Rostro de Jesús, Instituto Angélica Flores, Club Kiwanis de Manta, Área de Emprendimiento del Patronato, Epam, entre otras instituciones.
Comparsas de llamativos colores ataviadas con globos y diversos materiales pusieron el toque especial a este pregón.
// The inclusive carnival proclamation that toured the main streets of the city at the beginning of the carnival festivities.
The proclamation organized by the Municipal Patronage of Manta held on Friday, February 24, began at the height of the Oro Verde Hotel and toured the city’s seafront to culminate in the civic plaza Eloy Alfaro, with artistic presentations and delivery of certificates to the invovled Institutions.
It included people with visual, physical and sensorial disabilities of Manta-Montecristi, Rostro de Jesus Foundation, Angelica Flores Institute, Kiwanis Club of Manta, Entrepreneurship Area of the Patronato, Epam, among other institutions.
Striking colors contrasts with balloons and various materials put the special touch in this proclamation.
CAMPEONATO STREET WORKOUT & CALISTENIA
El campeonato de St. Work Out & Calistenia es la demostración del arduo entrenamiento que muchos jóvenes de nuestra ciudad han venido realizando y que ahora tienen la oportunidad de darlo a conocer. Ubicado en la playa El Murciélago, la reciente adecuación da una imagen renovada al área en general.
// The championship of St. Work Out & Calisthenics is the demonstration of the hard work that many young people of our city have been doing and now have the opportunity to make it known. Located at “Murciélago” beach, the recent adaptation gives a renewed image to the area in general.
MARIANA FEST
La playa de San Mateo será el escenario de la segunda edición de la fiesta más grande del carnaval, que concentra una gran cantidad de público proveniente de diversos lugares del país en busca de mucho color, la mejor música y diversión a raudales. Allí se pondrá a prueba la habilidad artística de disc-jockey (DJ) de renombre tales como Andrea Rincón, Set Collins, DJ Rabbit, Macsan, Stalin & Arce, DJ Vatiix y DJ Vitico.
El espectáculo incorporó espuma y luminotecnia multicolor.
// San Mateo beach was the favorite stage of the second edition of the biggest carnival party, which concentrated a large amount of people from various parts of the country in search of a lot of color, the best music and fun in abundance. The artistic ability of renowned DJs was tested such as Andrea Rincón, Set Collins, DJ Rabbit, Macsan, Stalin & Arce, DJ Vatiix and DJ Vitico were present.
The show incorporated foam and multicolored lighting.
REINA DEL CARNAVAL 2017
CONCIERTO “CHILL OUT”
El Chill out es un estilo musical compuesto principalmente por instrumentos electrónicos y de viento, cuyo objetivo es relajar al oyente. La adecuación en la playa estuvo bien organizada, al estilo de una gran fogata, rodeando el escenario y elementos clásicos de este tipo de espectáculos.
Estadio natural listo // Natural field ready// Chill out is a musical style composed mainly of electronic and wind instruments, whose aim is to relax the listener. The suitability on the beach was well organized, in the style of a large bonfire, surrounding the stage and other classic elements of this type of shows.
Siéntete cómodo // Feeling confortable in Manta
CONCIERTO GONDWANA
Por primera vez en la historia musical de Manta, el grupo chileno de reggae Gondwana se presentó en este puerto, acompañado de las bandas Guardarraya, Swing Original Monks y VINU, con la participación especial de tres bandas locales: Bulevar, Sativa Roots y Chimbilaco. Toda la mejor música en un solo evento.
// For the first time in the musical history of Manta, the Chilean reggae group Gondwana performed in this port, accompanied by the bands “Saveraya”, Swing Original Monks and VINU, with the special participation of three local bands: Bulevar, Sativa Roots and Chimbilaco. All the best music in one event.
CONCIERTO ALBERTO BARROS
Al final del Carnaval, los mantenses y visitantes en su balance coincidieron en señalar haberse sentido muy bien disfrutando de los eventos que se realizaron en plazas, playas y en otros lugares públicos. Niños, jóvenes, adultos, y en fin la familia tuvieron su espacio para la diversión sana en el Manta Espectacular 2017.

// At the end of the Carnival, the Mantenses and visitors on their balance sheet coincided in pointing out to have felt very well enjoying the events that took place in plazas, beaches and other public places. Children, youngsters, adults, and finally the family had their space for healthy fun in the Spectacular Manta 2017.
